The greatest joy in preaching to teenagers is the knowledge that “the evil days” have not yet come. Life, vigor, and pursuit is natural in this stage of life; the goal is to point it all to the Lord. Many would agree that when a teenager fully surrenders his passions to Christ, all around him are aware of his contagious fire. It is once again through straight-forward, Biblical preaching that God’s Spirit can consume a teenager’s heart.
Teen Ministries
- "Let no man dare to speak of God in any way other than He speaks of Himself in His Word." Preach the WORD, not opinions! I Cor. 2:4,5,13
- Paul's New Year Advice: "Forgetting those things which are behind, & reaching forth unto those things which are before."
- To Satan's attack: "He does not deserve mercy!" God's reply, "If he had deserved it, it would not be mercy."
- Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
- Humanism says "Just be yourself." Godliness says "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me."
