A Big Ministry Change

Hello Friends,

A Big Announcement
I write this post with mixed emotions, but want to share how Lord has been working in our hearts over the past 4 months. After much prayer and counsel, we have accepted the call to pastor Green Road Baptist Church (the church I have been interim at.) On April 23rd, I was voted in with 100% unity and began in the “official capacity” April 30th.  When I initially had said yes to the interim position, I fully believed it was only to be a temporary help. But in March, God began to turn my heart. I couldn’t shake the intense desire to feed the flock of God and shepherd this body of believers. At first it seemed like a curve ball from the Lord, but the more we considered it all, the clearer we could see how God had been preparing our lives over the past year. We are honored, humbled, grateful, and excited at this new opportunity.

A Hard Decision
Obviously, we will no longer “live on the road” in revival meetings. And that’s hard. We sincerely loved the churches God allowed us to be a part of. We have so many dear friends and countless precious memories. So, so many blessed our lives and we will be eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve 11 years in evangelism. We give Him glory for all the work accomplished. He is worthy!

What Lies Ahead
We are stepping by faith in this journey. Pastoring a church is a privilege and honor that I don’t take lightly. Also, Hoosier Hills Baptist Camp will remain a big part of our lives. It is only 30 minutes away, and in God’s providence, became a ministry of Green Road two years ago. We are excited about His plans and trust His leadership.

Prayer Partners
Even though our ministry has changed, our need for prayer hasn’t. Please allow us to send an update letter a couple times a year to keep us in front of your eyes. We desperately need His blessing and power continually upon us.
Grateful to Serve a God Who Knows All!
